A scenic jaunt from Lilydale to Warburton. The rail trail is one of Victoria’s best and passes through a variety of bushland, farmland and vineyards, offering fine views of the Yarra Ranges along the way. Being a rail trail the gradient is always manageable. 

After a 7 km steady climb to wake us up, we can stop for a coffee at the Penny Olive Sourdough Café, before enjoying the more downward-tending ride to Warburton. After a restful lunch we’ll make our way back to Lilydale.
