From City to the Persian cuisine of Burwood, we'll start from Federation Square and follow the Yarra east along Capital City Trail until Burnley. With a little detour off the trail we'll stop for coffee at Friends of Mine. We'll head back to the Yarra from there and follow the path to Gardiners Creek Trail and on to Glen Iris. Then the route diverts via parkland and a short way through leafy suburb before reaching our destination of Aghajoon Restaurant for Persian lunch.

After lunch we'll return by the same route, except turning right where Gardiners Creek meets Capital City Trail. The official ride ends at Hawthorn Railway Station but some will likely keep going to finish back at Federation Square.
