From Alphington via the new Darebin Trail link we'll ride Main Yarra Trail through one of Melbourne's more significant green wedges to arrive for a perusal at Heide Gallery. Then we'll head through Westerfolds and Candlebark Parks for lunch at Pettys Orchard in Templestowe. From there it's a quick jaunt up Diamond Creek Trail to Eltham Railway Station.
