Here's a lovely weekend ride exploring Bellarine Peninsula, through the middle and around the coast. We'll set off from South Geelong Railway Station and pick up Bellarine Rail Trail from the western end and ride it through farmland and bush to arrive in Queenscliff. We'll stay there overnight and the next day travel around the coastal trail to take in the bayside vistas and finish the ride in Portarlington. From there we catch a ferry to take us to Docklands, Melbourne. The ride is a mix of rail trail, road and bike path. There's also a mix of surface, sealed and unsealed.
