This ride begins from Lynbrook Railway Station and travels bike paths and some streets to Royal Botanic Gardens' other site in Cranbourne. It's a huge area to explore mostly dedicated to natural settings of heath, woods and wetlands.

Our route will take us along the impressive wetlands creation in Lyndhurst with its healthy population of both bird life and bird statues and travel through the parkways of Cranbourne to the gardens.

There are a number of options to pursue while there. The feature display is Australian Garden which is very handy to the visitor centre and café. Trig Point Lookout is close too and highly recommended for its spectacular 360° view as far as visibility allows. The interior landscape doesn't permit bicycle access but depending on time available we might venture in on foot.

There is an outer circuit we can ride that offers a marvellous overview of the whole estate. The experience of the Gardens changes as the seasons change.

We'll return a slightly varied way to the outgoing route. It's pretty much a flat landscape, a few inclines but no hill climbing involved.
