Count bike riders and raise money for Bent Kranks!
Bicycle Network Victoria is keen to hear from available people who would like to count bike riders for the project known as Super Tuesday - Commuter Bike Count. Counters will receive a free t-shirt by registering and as a bonus will earn $50 for a Bicycle Victoria listed cycling club nominated as a supporter organisation. I heartily recommend Bent Kranks. You'll be given the option to choose where the money goes on the registration form.
Counting covers 2 hours at one location of your choice from those available, between 7am and 9am on Tuesday 7th of March 2017. You can zoom in on this map to see the count site locations. When you register, the Super Tuesday registration process will show a map of sites still available.
Bent Kranks is a bike club created for the gay and lesbian community of Melbourne and open to all. Whether you are a once a year rider or a weekend warrior who likes to hit the trails in and around Melbourne, we have a ride for you.
Our rides are mostly away from busy roads on urban bike paths, rail-trails or dirt tracks in the hills around town. Annual membership is only $20 and entitles you to be on our mailing list, receiving full ride details weekly.
If any of this appeals to you contact us and we will soon have you riding your bike in places that perhaps you never knew existed.
See you on your bike soon!
