Beginning at Craigieburn Railway Station the route meanders down Broadmeadows Valley and then West to the park, landscapes and wildlife not much changed since the 19th Century. The park has a 150-year old homestead, Indigenous canoe trees, native woodland and grassland.
Unsealed roads and tracks will take us through the fenced 'Back Paddock' where kangaroos, birds and other wildlife may be seen. From Woodlands it's on to trails over to Moonee Ponds Creek Trail and then to finish at Jacana railway Station.
