Beginning in Newport, we'll ride some road to pick up the southern end of the trail in Altona and head north through Kororoit Creek Sculpture Trail. The route takes in the lower section of the trail, a mix of cultivated parks and native grasslands backing onto a mix of suburban and industrial zones. We can stop for lunch in Deer Park and then ride to just short of where the lower section ends to follow Transmission Line Linear Reserve through to Moorland Park and Iramoo Wildflower Grassland Reserve. Then it's a short way to St Albans Station to finish.
