Ride the Upfield bike path to Fawkner Cemetery, wth an early coffee stop at Merlynston shops. From the cemetery we zig-zag some streets over to join a lovely bike track along Westbreen creek, which continues trhough to Pascoe Vale shops.

It's a short road-hop to Moonee Ponds Creek trail, which takes us back to an exit near brunswick rd overpass, to get back to Jewel station, or you can travel on into the city.
